  • How long does tinting take?

    The duration for a complete vehicle tint installation typically ranges from 2 to 4 hours. The exact time depends on factors such as the number of windows and the specific type of vehicle being serviced.
  • Is window tint legal in Texas?

    Window tinting is legal in Texas, but state regulations limit the darkness of tint, particularly for front windows. Frisco Tint® ensures all installations fully comply with Texas state tinting laws.
  • What warranty do you offer?

    Frisco Tint® provides a lifetime, nationwide warranty for most of our tint films. This warranty covers issues such as bubbling, peeling, fading, and discoloration.
  • Why do I see bubbles or haze after tinting?

    The appearance of bubbles or a hazy look is a normal part of the drying process. In Frisco, TX, it can take up to 14 days for the tint to fully dry, with the exact duration influenced by local weather conditions.
  • Do you offer tinting for homes and offices?

    Frisco Tint® does offer professional tinting services for both residential and commercial properties. These services aim to enhance energy efficiency, privacy, and protection against UV rays.
  • What are the benefits of residential window tint?

    Residential window tinting offers several advantages: it decreases heat and glare, safeguards furniture from UV damage, improves privacy and aesthetic appeal, and may contribute to lower energy costs.
  • Is there a warranty for residential/commercial tint?

    Residential tinting comes with a lifetime nationwide warranty. For commercial tinting, warranty terms may vary. We recommend contacting Frisco Tint® directly for specific details on commercial warranties.
  • What is Paint Protection Film (PPF)?

    Paint Protection Film (PPF) is a transparent urethane film applied to painted surfaces to guard against rock chips, scratches, and environmental damage. At Frisco Tint®, we utilize Valor PPF by LLumar, which incorporates self-healing technology and a ceramic-style finish. PPF can be applied to various areas of a vehicle, including partial front (hood, fenders, mirrors), full front (bumper, hood, fenders, mirrors), high-impact zones (rocker panels, door edges), or full-body coverage.
  • Does PPF come with a warranty?

    Yes, the Valor PPF we use is backed by a 12-year manufacturer warranty. Additionally, Frisco Tint® provides our own guarantee on the installation work.
